Paint spec.

Sanding all over was usually 80 grit for shaping and up to 240 grit for varnished parts.

Bedding of fittings was done with Sikaflex® 291 (white) 

Two coats of epoxy all over - West System.
The area varnished used the 207 Special Clear Hardener, otherwise used the 206 as supplied in the kit.

Altex paints supplied by Resene http://www.resene.com.au/

Inside planks #2,3 & 4, seats, centreboard/trunk box, marine varnish:
 (5 coats) Altex Timbercote Varnish

Inside floor & plank #1: (1 coat) Altex - No.1 Epoxy Primer  
> (a good sprinkle of) Altex - Non Skid Particles (fine) 
> (3 coats) Altex - 2-pack  Elite 321 Brushing Polyurethane  - Oyster White 

Hull & bottom:  (1 coat) Epoxy primer  > (3 coats) Altex - 2-pack Polyurethane - Oyster White
